I live in Wales and work in nature conservation. I bought my first serious bike since childhood ten years ago, the trusty Dawes Tanami that has carried me for tens of thousands of miles since. I cycle almost every day from need or for pleasure, and cycle camping is a recent, joyful discovery for myself and my partner. I firmly believe that Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales are four of the most beautiful countries on the planet, and I am passionate about getting to know them by bicycle.
When not cycling, I am usually walking, birdwatching, staring at the sea, hula hooping, rehearsing music for choir practice or reading.
